In 2019, the Center at St. Matthew's is collaborating with other community organizations and public leaders to develop a HART (Homeless Assistance Resource Team) organization in the Arden-Arcade area.

HART organizations are volunteer-led coalitions of faith communities, nonprofits, businesses, and public agencies committed to support homeless and at-risk people and seek lasting solutions to homelessness in our communities.

Five HART organizations have formed in Sacramento County, working with the nonprofit Sacramento Self Help Housing. Each HART organization has designed programs responsive to local needs and resources, including street outreach, social service referrals, winter shelters, transitional housing, and post-homeless mentoring.

Imagine what we can do together in Arden-Arcade! If you or your organization would like to get involved, please contact stmatthewsepiscopal@gmail.com.
